Dove Season 2022-2023





The 2022-2023 Dove hunting season in Arizona kicks off on Thursday September 1st at 1/2 hour before sunrise and runs through Thursday September 15th at sunset. ​



2022-2023 Legal Season Dates





SEASON - Sept 1st through Sept 15th ​2022

Any Mourning or White-winged Dove

LATE SEASON - Nov 18th 2022 through Jan 1st ​2023

YEAR ROUND - Eurasian Collared Dove

Bag Limits (season-wise)



During the early season the bag limit will be 15 mourning and white-winged doves per day in the aggregate of which no more than 10 may be white-winged doves. The possession limit for the early dove season will be 45 mourning and white-winged doves in the aggregate of which no more than 30 may be white-winged doves.

During the late season the bag and possession limits are 15 and 45 mourning doves respectively.

In order to save you time, and also promote social distancing, it is recommended that you purchase your Arizona hunting license online to avoid crowded areas. Licenses (and Migratory bird stamps) can be purchased online HERE and a screenshot of your license on your phone is all you need if you are checked by a Wildlife Manager in the field.
