2022 Dove Hunt
clean-up

A FUN DAY AFTER THE HUNT

LITTERING!

Shotgun shells are litter! Farmers in the Yuma area play host to 1000's of hunters every year. Be respectful of their property and pick up your shells. Plus, littering while hunting is a revocable violation and a conviction can result in the loss of hunting privileges for up to FIVE YEARS.

2021 DOVE CLEANUP: After the challenging pandemic times, we hosted a post dove hunt cleanup in 2021 where more than 30 volunteers came together to clean up the hunting fields in and around Yuma. A big "Thank you" to all the volunteers who came out to help and for keeping Yuma clean.

2019 DOVE CLEANUP: We host a post hunt cleanup after Dove season to say thank you to local land owners who allow access for dove hunting. In 2019 40+ volunteers filled an overflowing dumpster with garbage found in and around Yuma. Thank you to the volunteers who helped, and please keep Yuma clean and open for hunting by picking up your trash and hulls.

2018 DOVE CLEANUP: On Sept. 22nd local volunteers and partners participated in the annual Dove Hunt Cleanup. Eleven groups of over 30 volunteers filled two dumpsters full of garbage from around Yuma Co. Thank you for helping to keep Yuma clean and access open.
